So it was a surprise and shock to see the stunning Eva Mendes cover up her bankable figure underneath a fashion monstrosity as she went for a walk around Paris.
The movie star, 36, wore a calf-length patterned dress, she left her hotel to explore the sights of the city.
She teamed the unsightly frock with lace-up, clumpy platform shoes which only made the outfit look worse.
Eva is in the French capital to promote her new film, The Other Guys, in which she stars alongside Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell.
But she cut a solitary figure as she left the Ritz Hotel where she is staying to take a tour of the city.

She then took a stroll around the park, oblivious to the locals and tourist that looked as though they were trying to figure out who she was.

The actress will be praised for her philanthropy by Variety Magazine at its second annual Power of Women luncheon.
The event, which takes place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on September 30th, will also honor other celebrities such as Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane, Amy Adams and Natalie Portman, for their charity work.
