The 30-year-old is still in New York, where she has been promoting her new clothing line at Fashion Week and was off to launch Macy’s new advert.
But despite trying her hand at fashion design, both Jess and Eric decided to dress down in jeans as they left their hotel in the Big Apple and went shopping at Barney's.
The pint sized star gave herself some extra height in four inch heels and covered her curves in a baggy white T-shirt and black blazer.
She might need to give her 30-year-old former NFL beau a few tips though after she let him stroll around in a tracksuit hoodie, loose jeans and scruffy trainers.
Miss Simpson was later attending Macy’s ‘Find Your Magic’ launch, which is the department store’s new commercial unveiling.
She posted on her Twitter page: ‘Meet me at Macy’s Herald Square from 7:30-9:30 and ‘show me your blues’ by @JSCollection and I’ll tweet your pic!’
