Last night the actress covered her bump in a white smock dress as she attended the Vanity Fair event at Bar Marmont in Hollywood, California.
Her leading role in The Black Swan, which sees her play a crazed ballet prima donna, earned her universal acclaim and a best actress Oscar nomination.
Portman, who has revealed she is expecting a baby boy with fiancé Benjamin Millepied, is due this summer.
A source close to the couple told Life & Style magazine the pair were 'so excited'.
