Video - Justin Bieber’s Manager Scooter Braun Turns 30 – Throws World Class Bash

Scooter Braun and Justin
You know what they say; it’s not what you know it’s who you know…

And Scooter Braun knows a lot of famous people.

That was very apparent last Saturday when Scooter turned thirty years old and held on heck of a party.

Braun not only was the one who discovered Justin Bieber on YouTube four years ago, but also became the teen pop sensations Manager, mentor, and best friend.

So how does somebody as connected as Scooter throw a party?

Well, you start by renting out “The Music Box” in Hollywood California and inviting all your friends.

There was Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith, MC Hammer, Usher Raymond, Perez Hilton, Kenny Hamilton, Ryan Goode, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Adam Levine, Wilmer Valderama, Dan Kanter, Mary J. Blige, and others.

Both User and MC Hammer performed on stage, and Justin performed “Never Say Never” with Jaden Smith, and all were on the stage singing and dancing during each other’s performances.

Justin even backed up User on the drums during one of his songs:

Insiders say Justin and Jaden played “Beer Pong” (with water and not beer) most of the night while other celebs took to twitter to tell their fans where they were and who they were with.

MC Hammer tweeted,

“Usher... Justin B. ... Adam Levine .. We’re performing and partying in LA .. Celebrating Scooter’s B Day and Fathers Day !!!”

Usher Raymond was so excited he forgot there was such a thing as lower case when tweeting,

“WE ARE HAVING THE GREATEST NIGHT EVER!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOOTER!!!! URIV”

And while user performed, Bieber was on stage executing some killer dance moves as seen in the video below.

There were also belly dancers and fire eaters and enough food to feed an army. From what we here a good time was had by all and the group partied into the wee hours.

The highlight of the evening was a “Roast” of young Scooter, whose real name is Scott. It was very personal with lots of “stories from the road during last year’s concert tour” and lots of inside jokes from when Scooter and Justin were on the road early in the process hitting up Malls and radio stations.

But there were a few conspicuous absences.

Bieber’s mom Pattie Mallette and divorced dad Jeremy Bieber were unable to attend, and girlfriend Selena Gomez was not there either.

But Gomez had a good excuse as she was in Toronto Canada rehearsing for her hosting duties at the “Much Music Video Awards” MMVA show.

In fact, after Scooter’s birthday bash, Justin hit the road to join Selena in Toronto where he won two MMVA awards.

The first was a tie with singer Drake for International Video of the Year, and the second was for “Ur Favorite Artist” award.

There was one funny moment when Gomez announced the winner and Justin came out on stage to receive his award and turned to Selena and said,

“Selena? Nice to meet you, I’m Justin, maybe we should go out some time?”

The Paparazzi also took note of Justin’s attire as he showed off his T-shirt with a picture of the character Kelly Kapowski from the popular “Saved by the Bell” television series.

So there you go, just another weekend in the life of a $150 Million teen pop sensation.

Justin Bieber’s Manager Scooter Braun Found Guilty in 2009 Mall Mob Incident

Remember the “Free Scooter” campaign of 2009?

Back in November 2009, Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun was arrested at New York’s Roosevelt Field Mall for not cancelling a performance before the crowed grew unruly.

Almost 3,000 Bieber fans had shown up to see the singer perform when police were called to control the crowd.

Braun was told to cancel the performance and use Twitter to tell the fans to disperse.

Police cancelled the event but not after 5 people were injured and Braun had been arrested on charges of reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance.

The next day, Bieber was seen sporting a t-shirt with the slogan “Free Scooter”.

Today, Scooter and Bieber’s record label Island Def Jam agreed to plead guilty on one count of violating a county safety ordinance. A rep commented,

“Basically they are just trying to settle the case and make it go away. It is water under the bridge and was only a moderate safety infraction. This way both sides can move on and put this issue behind them. After reviewing the case, both sides agreed things could have been handled better by everyone involved.”

Island will pay a small fine of $8,000 to settle the case and Bieber is ordered to do a PSA (Public Service Announcement) about cyber bullying.

Not bad when you consider that Bieber makes $300,000 per show, and has pulled in over $100 million dollars over the last year between his “My World” concert tour and widely successful 3D movie “Never Say never”.

For his part, Bieber is finishing his tour in Australia this week and has plans to move on to Japan later this month.

But his tour management company and stage crew have mounted a mutiny of sorts and are refusing to work in Japan due to the risk of radiation from last month’s earthquake and tsunami.

If the team can’t come to some sort of agreement soon, the May 17th and 19th shows in japan may have to be cancelled. Both Avril Lavigne and Slash have already cancelled shows at the same stadiums in Japan over health fears.

Once his tour is over later this month, Bieber plans to return to the U.S. and finish work on his third album and begin shooting his new movie with Mark Wahlberg.

Justin Bieber’s Tour Crew Refuses to Return to Japan – Might Cancel Shows

It’s not easy being the world’s most popular 17-year-old Pop star.

And we also know that Justin Bieber is not the kind of performer who likes to cancel a show.

But today during a crew meeting in Adelaide Australia, were Bieber is performing, the road and stage crew overseeing his tour said they refused to return to Japan for more concerts due to fears of radiation from the recent nuclear disaster.

Since the earthquake and Tsunami last month they fear the risk of cancer and other illnesses is too great, and say they refuse to return for shows on May 17th and 19th.

Bieber has already visited Japan on his My World Tour, and is scheduled to return later this month to both Tokyo and Osaka.

The crew reminded Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, that both Avril Lavigne and Slash have cancelled shows at the same venues over health fears.

Braun was overheard yelling and cursing at the crew telling them that the Japanese Government had told him there was no risk at all and that they should do what is right for the kids.

At this point there is a mutiny and the crew says they refuse to return.

Bieber himself has not made any comments on the subject and a simple statement released by his PR rep said “They are working through the issue now”.

Justin Bieber Egged During Sydney Show - Video

We all know that Justin Bieber is a prankster.

Anybody who follows him on twitter knows what happens if somebody on his crew leaves their laptop or iPhone unattended for even a moment.

Bieber has pranked his dancers, his manager Scooter Braun, pal Ryan Good, his bodyguard Kenny Hamilton, and anybody else within a mouse click to him.

But what happens when the prankster becomes the prankee?

Bieber found out Friday night in Sydney Australia that not everybody is a Belieber.

During the singers “One Time” number, someone from the audience threw six eggs at him while on stage.

Scooter Braun Theme Song Hits YouTube

You know what they say, “Haters will hate”.

And for Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun there is no escape.

Today, a new video has appeared on YouTube titled “Scooter Braun’s Theme Song”, and it's a vicious parody of Braun’s success in the music business and other ventures.

The video theme song features a South Park style animation that shows Braun throwing around cash, private jets, big mansions, Usher, Justin Bieber, Asher Roth, and others.

Scooter commented via Twitter “yeah I’m weirded out...who made this”?

It really is kind of funny… enjoy. I think?

Scooter Braun Picks Up Another Young Celebrity Talent

In what can only be called a change up in the world of celebrity agents and managers, Scooter Braun has decided to expand his empire.

Not content with managing the number one pop singing super star Justin Bieber, Braun is now setting his sights on the uber-talented wakeboarding Koch family.

The Koch kids can currently be seen wakeboarding on the Disney Channel in Disney’s sports “shorts” called “Getcha Head In The Game”.

Paulie Koch and his sisters, Tori, Gabriella and Moxie, were selected to be featured for the next five years in a Disney short film that showcases their Wakeboarding skills and training regimen.

Scooter invited 14-year-old Paulie to the New York City premier of Justin’s “Never Say Never 3D” where he got to walk the red carpet, see the movie, and meet Justin back stage after the show.

Suddenly, brother Paulie and sister Tori have become the latest teen sensation.

Paulie writes on his blog:

I have the pleasure of knowing Scooter and I can tell you he is a great guy! A real class act who keeps Justin grounded and on course. I also am fortunate that Scooter will be guiding me in the future as I continue to pursue my passion for wakeboarding.

Paulie maintains a website and blog at PaulieKoch.com and the video below tells a little bit about his family and his aspirations and includes a bio, pictures, and videos of his wakeboarding.

Go Scooter! Go Paulie!
