Tea Leoni Cancels Appearance At Toronto Film Festival
Actress Tea Leoni has announced the cancellation of her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, her rep has reported.
Leoni, and wife of actor David Duchovny, was to attend the premiere of her film "Ghost Town."
The cancellation comes after her husband David Duchovny checked himself into rehab for sex addiction, which the "Californication" star made public last week.
The celebrity couple was married in 1997 and has two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
Leoni is set to release her new movie "Ghost Town", starring Leoni as Gwen, Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear. The film is due in theaters September 19.
"Ghost Town" tells the story of Bertram Pincus (Ricky Gervais), a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When he dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts.
Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen (Téa Leoni).
