Tina Fey As Sarah Palin On Saturday Night Live - Nailed It - Video
Last night, ex-SNL alumni Tina Few visited her old stomping grounds at Saturday Night Live. She had to. She is the only cast member that could pull off the skit of the year - as Sarah Palin, John McCain's VP pick.
And she nailed it. Opening in a skit with her "Baby Momma" costar Amy Poehler, she hit on all the topics covered by the media the last three weeks from living so close to Russia, to not knowing what the "Bush Doctrine" was.
Fey was a cast member of NBC's Saturday Night Live from 1997-2006 before leaving to write and star in the Emmy-award-winning "30 Rock", a comedy based on her stint with SNL.
Of course we would have loved to link to on of the hundreds of "Tina Fey Does Sarah Palin" videos on Youtube, but NBC Universal, in its zeal to save the world, has forced the video giant to pull every one from the site. At least the world is safe for now, as NBC has yanked some good free advertising for one of its sagging shows. But we finally found found for your to see.
In addition to her being creator, writer and star on the current "30 Rock", Fey can be seen next year in the comedy "This Side Of The Truth", starring with Jonah Hill, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Ricky Gervais, Patrick Stewart, Rob Lowe and Jeffrey Tambor. The film is a comedy set in a world where no one has ever lied, until a writer seizes the opportunity for personal gain. _ Updated
