Ouch: Teenage duo Lisa Parker and Abbey Johnston's audition ended in chaos after Johnston punched her singer partner in the face
There is nothing like reality TV to bring out the best... and worst in people.
A teenager has revealed how her relationship with her best friend has been destroyed an X Factor audition that went horribly wrong, ending in a sensational on-stage fight.
In the episode to be aired on Saturday night, 17-year-old Lisa Parker is punched in the face by her best friend Abbey Johnston, as the judging panel react in horror
The violent attack came after Simon Cowell said theirs was 'the worst audition in history.'
'All of a sudden I felt something across my head,' Lisa told the Daily Mirror today. 'I just remember being hit and then having a headache.
'I think Abbey only hit me once but then a security guard grabbed her and another one pushed me against the wall so I couldn't get to her.
'If Simon hadn't been so nasty this probably wouldn't have happened.'
The brawl, which took place in Birmingham in June, 'got a bit heated,' an X Factor spokesman says, 'Producers quickly stepped in.'
Shock: The panel, especially Cheryl and guest judge Natalie Imbruglia are horrified by the violent outburst, sparked by Simon's negative comments
They also attempted to get the girls in a room together after they left the stage, but the teens, from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, had to be separated again as the row escalated.
Lisa and Abbey's X Factor attempt got off to a rocky start when they insulted both Louis Walsh and guest judge Natalie Imbruglia.
Lisa's joke about Louis' age didn't impress the 57-year-old: 'Abbey fancies you but you're old enough to be my grandad,' she said. The pair were booed by the audience after asking Imbruglia, 'Who are you?'
Simon Cowell wasn't spared from the feisty duo's wrath, after slamming their renditions of Journey’s Don't Stop Believin' and That's My Goal by Shane Ward, getting 'the bird' from Lisa.
But the episode isn't all middle fingers and fighting. Cheryl Cole was reduced to tears listening to a supermarket worker who has been dubbed 'NuBo'
Wowing the judges: Tesco employee Byrne sang Shirley Bassey¿s I Who Have Nothing
Irish woman Mary Byrne is not the first reality show contestant to be compared to Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle.

81-year-old Pensioner Janey Cutler from Scotland received the honour earlier this year, making it to the finals of BGT.
But it is Tesco employee Mary's turn in the spotlight after wowing judges including Katy Perry at the Dublin X Factor auditions.
The 45-year-old from Ballyfermot makes a nervous entrance on to the stage, telling judges she has been too scared to try her luck in previous years.
But after hearing her belt out a stunning version of Shirley Bassey’s I Who Have Nothing, Simon Cowell tells the curvy check-out lady, 'I think, no, I know, you have an amazing voice. 'I don’t know why you suffer from no confidence.'
He later added: 'I absolutely love her, she is genuinely a lovely woman with great talent and I hope the audience loves her too. She deserves this break.'
Cheryl wiped away tears after the performance, saying, 'That was my favourite audition in Dublin.'
A neighbour of Mary's, who says she has been a regular on the pub singing circuit for 20 years, told the Daily Star that 'She is over the moon.
'All she has wanted all her life is to realise her dream of being a singer. Entering the show has taken her that one step closer.'
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell has revealed today how he has banned use of the auto-tuning that drew so many complaints from viewers after last week's first episode.
'People have got to be able to trust The X Factor,' he said. 'We are not faking anything. People love this show, millions watch it every week and we absolutely respect that, we never take it for granted.'
Watch The X Factor on Saturday 7.30pm on ITV1
